The Security Construction and Equipment Committee (SCEC) are very clear in their guidelines that only individuals are approved and not the company that employs them. Businesses that are advertising otherwise are being misleading. Stuart Coltman is our SCEC Approved Locksmith and has been approved since SCEC was established, prior to this he was approved under the scheme that preceded SCEC since the early 1990's. Lock Solutions Pty. SCEC Approved

The Security Construction and Equipment Committee (SCEC) is a standing interdepartmental committee responsible for the evaluation of security equipment for use by Australian Government departments and agencies. SCEC reports to the Attorney General's, Protective Security Policy Committee, which was established by the Australian Government to develop and establish guidelines for protection of Australian Government resources.
